High Performance Seismic Simulation Shaking Table System
Introduction
One of the major equipments of the Seismic Research and Test Center is
the shaking table system with capacity of executing multi-support simulations for earthquakes.
The system consists of two moveable 3-DOF shaking tables and one fixed 6-DOF shaking table.
The 3-DOF shaking table is consist of four actuators and four gas-strut hydrostatic bearings,
making it possible to test a structural model with a maximum payload of 600kN.
The 6-DOF shaking table is consist of eight actuators,
making it possible to test a model with a maximum payload of 300kN.
Also, by using the screw-type electric motor, it shows an economic design with the advantage of
installing the model when the oil pressure pump is not active.

Introduction
Another major equipment in Seismic Research and Test Center is
the High Performance 10g – 6 DOF Seismic Shake Table System.
Most important part of the system is the maximum acceleration.
Its maximum acceleration is 10g with bare table or 7g with maximum loading(60 kN) condition.
It is possible to test various member or components in the fields of
Building and Civil structure, Machine, Ship, Nuclear power plant, Train, Military facilities by using the System.
